Getting started
The SkullBot dashboard: tabs and server settings
Short answer
Pick a server at the top, then a tab. In each tab the left side lists modules with switches and the right side shows the settings of the selected module. Switches save themselves, other changes are saved with the button at the bottom.
Picking a server
Above the tabs there is a server switcher with search. Every server has its own settings. The tab and module are kept in the address (?tab=moderation&module=antilink), so you can share a direct link.
Tabs
| Tab | What is inside |
|---|---|
| Overview | Summary tiles, Module status, statistics and shortcuts to active modules. |
| Moderation | Modlog, link blocking, spam detection, spam filters, raid protection, bot guard, honeypot, warning escalation. |
| Community | Welcome and roles, levels, role menus, tickets, button and voice verification. |
| Notifications | Stream and video alerts from YouTube, Twitch and Kick. |
| Commands & music | Command access (categories, single commands, channels) and music settings. |
| AI | AI chat on the server (VIP plan). |
| Settings | Bot language, staff notification channel and help. |
Saving changes
Switches and pickers save automatically after a moment. Text and number fields are saved with the Save changes button that appears at the bottom when there are unsaved changes. A confirmation shows next to the server name.
Module status
The Overview tab checks that the bot has the permissions, channels and roles the enabled modules need. Problems also show next to tabs and modules as a red error or a yellow warning. Check again refreshes the result, and it refreshes itself after you save settings.
My XP
At the top of the page there are two sections: Servers and My XP. The second shows your levels and points on servers with the level system turned on.
Frequently asked questions
Do dashboard changes apply immediately?
Yes. After saving, the bot uses the new settings right away. Command and automod settings are cached briefly, so the full effect can take up to a minute.
Who can change server settings?
People with the Administrator or Manage Server permission on that server, after signing in with Discord.
