Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated: 7 June 2026
This policy describes how we process personal data in connection with the SkullBot website, user panel and Discord bot.
1. Data controller
The data controller for SkullBot is SkullMedia (the operator of the service).
For privacy enquiries, contact us through the channels listed on the project site or the SkullMedia Discord server.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the service, we may process:
- Discord user ID, username, avatar and email (if provided by Discord OAuth),
- information about Discord servers where the bot is present and where you have panel access,
- per-server bot settings (channels, roles, modules) configured by administrators,
- technical session data (login cookies, language preference),
- optionally: message archive or moderation logs — only when the module is enabled on a server.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide the bot, the admin/user panel, authenticate users, and maintain security and moderation according to server configuration.
Legal bases typically include contract/service performance, legitimate interests of the controller, or consent where required.
4. Discord and third parties
Sign-in uses Discord OAuth. Discord processes data under its own privacy policy.
The bot runs on the Discord API. Website and database hosting may use cloud or VPS providers acting as processors.
5. Retention
Panel session and account data are kept until sign-out or removal of an admin account from the system.
Server settings and operational logs are retained as long as needed to operate the service or until deleted by an authorised administrator.
6. Your rights
Where applicable law grants them, you may have the right to:
- access your data,
- rectification,
- erasure (within legal limits),
- restriction of processing,
- object to processing,
- data portability,
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain login sessions and remember your language choice (PL/EN). We do not use third-party advertising trackers in the base site.
8. Policy changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use after publication means you accept the updated version unless law requires otherwise.
