Quick answers

Does SkullBot need the Administrator permission?

Not for the dashboard modules: they need only the permissions of what you enabled, and Module status shows which are missing. The exceptions are the /kick and /mute commands, which check for Administrator. The full list is in the permissions document.

Do dashboard changes apply immediately?

Yes. After saving, the bot uses the new settings right away. Command and automod settings are cached briefly, so the full effect can take up to a minute.

What does "role is above the bot role" mean?

The bot cannot assign a role that sits higher than its own. Drag the bot role higher in Server settings, Roles.

How do I ban for a limited time?

Use /ban with the duration option, for example 7d. Allowed units: m, h, d, w, one year at most.

Does the punishment fire at every later warning?

No. Each rule fires once, at its threshold. For punishments at the 3rd and 6th warning add two rules.

Will the spam filters punish moderators?

No. Administrators and people with Manage Messages are skipped, as are the chosen roles and channels.
